Day 1: Arrive in Arusha, Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Upon arrival in the northern city of Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by our wonderful team and catch a 30-minute connecting flight to the Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti National Park.
luckily, you’ll arrive in the Serengeti at the right time to witness the Great Migration, which typically occurs from June to November. This is the most dramatic phase, with herds braving crocodile-infested waters of the Mara and Grumeti Rivers. This time big cats and crocodiles lie in wait, creating intense wildlife drama.
Upon arrival, you’ll head to your Lodge you will have lunch and later in the afternoon go for a sunset game drive. Then come back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2-3: On Safari in Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days living every wildlife enthusiast’s dream as you embark on safaris across the wondrous Serengeti plains with both morning and afternoon game drives, and early morning sunrise hot air balloon, which offers a breath-taking aerial view of the savannah and a chance to see wildlife from an entirely different perspective, followed by bush breakfast on day 2.
During these two days, you’ll likely see the big five and countless other species in their natural habitat including the grazing giraffes and zebras and perhaps even predators as they hunt wildebeest and gazelles. You can choose to have bush lunch in the plains of Serengeti or back at the lodge, after which you’ll continue the game drive into the afternoon. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Zanzibar
Today you will enjoy the breakfast at the lodge, pack your bags and transfer to Seronera airstrip for the flight to Zanzibar, Zanzibar is regarded as one of East Africa’s most beautiful island destinations. Upon arrival at the airport, a personal driver will be waiting to transfer you to your beach hotel. After unpacking, feel free to kick back on the sand amid the tall palms and enjoy the fantastic views of the Indian Ocean.
Today, if you’re traveling with that special someone, you can enjoy a romantic lunch on your own private sandbank.
Days 5-6: Exploring Zanzibar
On this island of Zanzibar, there are many optional activities to keep you busy. You can easily spend the next couple of days relaxing on one of these beautiful beaches, Or, if you’re feeling social, there are beach clubs and party vibes in the coastal village of Nungwi, you can also engage in some activities such as: Stone Town Tour, Local Market Experience, Snorkelling, Sunset Dhow Cruise
Day 7: Flight back to Arusha/ Departure Flight
Unfortunately, Sunsets in Zanzibar, it’s time to leave the tropical paradise. Today in the morning You’ll transfer to Zanzibar’s airport and fly to Arusha, where you’ll catch your connecting Departure flight home marking the end of 7 Days Serengeti Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Beach Vacations.
