Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park/ Visit Kings Palace Museum
After having your breakfast you will be met by your driver guide for briefing about 3 day Chimps trekking and canopy walk tour. later on, you will vacate Kigali and start heading to Nyungwe National Park which is about 5 hours drive from Kigali enjoying the beautiful landscape of Rwanda the land of thousand hills. on the way you will visit the the King’s palace Museum in Nyanza, have lunch around there and then Continue on a scenic drive to Nyungwe National Park check in your accommodation, rest getting ready for Chimps trekking and canopy walk the next day.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking/ canopy walk
Today you will have an early breakfast and leave your accommodation around 4-5 am. meet the park guide who will give you the briefing about chimpanzee trekking and also takes you for trekking, after Getting to understand chimpanzee trekking rules, you will embark on the chimpanzee trekking, which will take approximately 2-5 hours depending on how they are moving, Upon finding them, you will have one hour for a close encounter and taking pictures. Other primates to expect to see on the way include: olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, Angola colobus monkeys, Owl-faced monkeys among others.
After Chimps trekking, you will have lunch, and in the afternoon go for the canopy walk which takes about 1-2 hours enjoying the beautiful views of the park’s forest canopy cover, and different bird species, after this you will go back to your accommodation for rest and another night stay.

Day 3: Tea Picking tour/ Transfer back to Kigali
In the morning after breakfast, you will go for the Tea picking tour, The tea picking tour brings you the experience of how tea is grown, processed and packed in the factory. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Kigali marking the end of the 3 days Chimps trekking and Canopy walk tour.
